To your type the very idea that 100,000s of Gazas are not dying now of starvation, or that the population of Gazans is in danger or being wiped out which is what Genocide means, makes them angry you need to believe as many Gazans as possible are dying
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
What furnished proof? The images of sick children were exposed to all be pre-existing conditions most sent to Pisa, there are images of hamas staging images of people with pots anywhere Also the UN has been saying famine was about to break out since 2023, you NEED there to be a famine
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
During the Kosovo war I was worried the the Serbian forces were conducting much higher killing that they did, I was disgusted by the 7,000-9,000 killed but I was relieved that more people were not killed, that a genocide was avoided. I just wanted to see the war end, and evil brought to justice
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
I would have been more than happy for the post Saddam period to have peace, I might have felt a bit stupid for being wrong but that would have passed and I would have been happy that a nightmare was avoided. I took NO joy in being right and I hoped I would be wrong.
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
For example if someone really cares about Gazans, which really nobody does, these would be saying 'I hope I am wrong about the Genocide' or 'I hope I am wrong about a famine about to break out.' They don't say that, it has to be a Genocide there has to be a famine, they need it to be true
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
I remember that time, it gave me no pleasure being proven right, I would have been more than happy to have been wrong. I remember year after year my late wife hoping we would be proven wrong that year. You can tell someone who really cares, they want to be proven wrong when they worry
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social)
I could take a photo of myself holding a pot and screaming and post it say I am starving but I would not sink THAT low.
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
So its now a month later, this mass famine was suppose to have started, the IDF is still fighting in Gaza, you guys promised that this time it was really going to happen? So were are the mass starvation photos, not kids holding pots but kids starving?
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
Yes Anne Frank got to film herself distributing ice create before she was killed as a result of fighting between the Dutch and Germans in WW2
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social)
Its odd but pro-pallys don't seem to include Jews living in Israel tortured to death by Hamas or being starved as hostages as anyone, for them Never Again does NOT INCLUDE JEWS. Jews have a right to protect themselves, they do not owe you sense of morality their extermination
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
and other images, like this one, show stagged feeding events, not that you see no food being distributed at all? Just people yelling for the camera with pots and pans knowing how shallow and stupid the west has become
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social)
When did Gazans turn into everyone puppy humans? In a world were the President of the US can say 'lets stop all feeing of all refugees around the world' and just like that 10,000s of people starve to death every month, what is it about Gazans that make their suffering so much more important.?

Unlike the bit American monsters my parents had I could take my stereo and tv with me to college, I could go from place to place with them. They were more innovative, they cost less and they actually lasted longer. There used to be TV repair stores,
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
So during my teen years my family could only afford on old stero system and one TV, both made in America, beautiful big things made of fax wood that took over the room and cost a small fortune. Then Japan started selling stuff and I, on money I saved up as a teen, had my own TV and stereo
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
Then in the 1980s you could start to buy things from Japan and Germany that often cost less. I was able to buy my own Panasonic TV for my own room, I was able to buy my own stereo because it was JVC. People who didn't know how to work on their cars could get Toyotas that didn't break down
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
When the United States made all its own cars and TV and such things productivity increases could translae to Union granted wage hikes. What were consumers going to do. I remember the 70s, TVs were significan investment, a family had maybe 1. That and a phone was the only comms tech in the house.
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
This graph shows a boom of US industry and union membership coming out of WW2, WW2 massively raised demand for industry in the US and the naional spirit of unity made unions and industry work better. For a while after WW2 US reigned alone over world trade. But you can see when Japan merges

I am sure the people who were eating in Darfur and South Sudan and who are not eating now could careless about the politics of it.

This is not genetics its culture, the Jews have culture of learning, of families sticking together, of total dedication to family and the value of wives and he wives duties towards husbands. Irish sadly have a long history of excuses, of blaming others, of broken families and drinking
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
2 persecuted people get to come to America. One produces 12 prizes in Ireland and 2 in America, the other persecuted people, who were much more hated and more killed, despite not speaking English when they came to America, the Jews have won 22% of the nobel prizes in the world
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
The Irish have won 12 nobel prizes, only 2 in siences (1 was Austrian when he won it). Sure we can talk a good talk and tell a good story and have. The Jews have won 216 nobel prizes, despite only being only about 250% the popiulation, even more in Literature.
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
The Irish and the Jews are both survivors of some of the most terrible crimes of the last 200 years. But the Irish only survived, the crawled into the present with their boy raping priests, their depression and their bottle. The Jews, who got in much worse, on the other hand thrieved.
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
You might have a misconcpet that American Irish know nothing about Ireland and are offended when Irish tell them they are not Irish, but I am a strange case, and American Irish who knows too much about Ireland and is ashamed of his heritage. Someone who delights in being different than Irish
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
And lets not forget the one and only defining total 'Irish' institution: THE CHURCH. OH THE CHURCH. I could tell you that priests in my Catholic Church had molested young boys, which is true, but big deal, that is true of EVERY SINGLE IRISH CATHOLIC diocese in the WORLD>
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
And the schools they sent their kids to acually educated them in useful things. When I was a kid wanting to save up money for University my parents, who save nothing, wanted to spend even more money to send me to a Catholic school so I would stop being an athiest.
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
Then I meet lots of Jewish families, sure they were not perfect, but the men generally stayed sober, they kept their jobs despite extreme racism and violence, they educted their children, they invested in their children future, only had kids they could take care of, and went to schools.
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
a long line of men who let their families down, could talk a good talk but failed their families And as I read more and more Irish literature it became clearer. Joyce, Angela's Ashes, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, I could see that the see the stories of my grandmother were a national problem
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
Growing up in America the entire 'Irish Pride' thing was pushed down my throat, we all wore Green on St Patricks day and other superficial things. But as I grew up I started thinking about the endless stories of the men in my Irish line. More were drunks than not,
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
Thank you so musch. that is a great honour, after growing up around lazy depressed men who drank too much and let their families down, of hearing stories of wives who just wish their men would stay sober enough to keep and job, my goal has been to be as unirish as I could be.
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
The Israeli have also invested mass sums, despite their small population, in actually learning the archeological history of Israel, building one of the best, and clearly explanation museums of an anceint culture on earth.
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
But the great restorer of real identity are Israelis. Reclaiming a land where they had always had a presence but had been kept out of by Empire after Empire despite wanting to settle in Jerusalem. Jews didn't say 'next year in Jerusalem' because they just made it up. They now have Hebrew back
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
The 'Palestinians' who cannot pronounce the name of their own identity properly and have to claim is was always Falastine (which we have Roman records to disprove) has been able to make a more unique identity out of imagination than Ireland out of thousand of years of history.
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
IRA-Palesine ties aref funny beause essentially an Arab people living in a region that had always been part of another empire since the start of Islam, who speak Arabic and practice Sunni Islam, were more able to built an identity opposed to the Irish who really do have a unique buried identity
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
Well firstly the Irish are not a race, their not even a culture. They are essentially British people some in a republic. All effort to establish some kind of unique Celtic identity failed and ultimately became nothing more than membership in the Catholic Church, and how did that work out.
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
Unlike Australians and Irish who wear their Jew hate as a badge, Jews have learned to be cautious of some ethnic groups more than others not from just culture, they are one of the few people who EVOLUTION has selected caution in. Jews who didn't trust Poles were more likely to survive to 1950
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
After World War 2 most Polish Jews wanted to stay in Poland. Generally some more than others, with some being hard core Communists. After progroms and the Anti-Zionist purges the Jews who were better off were the ones who most distrusted the promises of Poles.
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
My in-laws came from a split of family back in the Poland and Austria. Some people had decided that Poles and Austrians would never let Jews live in peace and moved to America, some of their family and friends accused them of being closed minded and prejudiced. Again who survived?
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
Jews are fairly unique for keeping their prejudces to themselves. But when you get do really know some, and they don't like to talk about it, they have learned the hard way to be cautious of certain people. The only reason any Jews are alive today is because they didn't trust some group.

I once saw a lecture about American policy with Israel during the 1967 war. At that time America and Israel were having warming relations after decades of mostly US indifferent. During the Vietnam war Amerians saw what Israel did in 1967 and there was deep resentment and frustation
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
It shows the deep, deep resentment of Repubicans for Zionist. Both movements had essentially the same aims at the same, Republicans had to face civil war, and getting only some of heir objective letting the British decide Northern Ireland. The Zionis got everything and more.

The mass of evidence that anyone considers for a few moments is that institutions like the BBC, UN, even CNN and most new services, behave in a way that can only be called bias no matter its motivation. Israel is treated differently than any other nation on earth for some reason. Wonder why?
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
BBC seems to have covered one story, while the South African case at the ICJ got constantly live coverage? Why? Are there no South Asians living in Europe? In the UK there are 10 times as many Bangladeshis as Palestine 644,881 vs 60,000. So wha accounts for different BBC reporting.
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
Gambia brings a genocide case and it is obscure news barely covered, no live coverage. My late wife covered that genocide and I have thousands of images and videos including drones from it, she struggled to sell any of it. Nobody cared about that Genocide, I didn't even know about the case

I is really disturbing how, with the lack of any really solid evidence of anything like a Genocide happening, people are so innately antisemitic that they need the term to be true. To say it is essentially to say Jews are just as bad as Nazis. For Europeans this breaks through guilt

The ONLY group to engage in Genocide during this war was Hamas on Oct 7, when they tried to kill or kidnap everyone in the other group but were stopped. The IDF is clearly not trying to kill every single Gazan in Gaza

I found a real gem, it turns out that after Mountbatten's murder the PLO, long a very close group with the IRA, actually found they it embarrassing to be associated with the IRA and distanced themselves. The PLO found the IRA too violent. Ladies and gentlemen, Irelands second largest party
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
I was just reminding myself that up until 1998 what is now the second largest party in Ireland had active and close ties with the PLO, training and working with a group that targeted Israelis anywhere in the world. Not a good look to then be obsessed with Israel

There is some kind of driving need to connect Israel to Genocide, I have found, and I am sure it will be the same for you, no body who uses this term can justify it in their own words. They just say 'some expert said' The term clearly comes from a need to equate Israel with the Nazis
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
No such finding has ever been made by the ICJ. And the entire claim of Genocide is utterly problematic, a slur seeking a justification. There is nothing in the Gaza war that goes beyond war, the total population of Gazans, counting those who have left, has actually increased.

If south African and Ireland just wanted to make sure Israel followed its responsibilities under international law they don't need to also make a charge of Genocide, which they very clearly have, the Irish going to the point of asking the court to change the law to fit Genocide explicitly.
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
The charge that South Africa is bringing against Israel collectively is of Genocide. Play what ever word games you want this is a ANC, a party that has destroyed the economy and society of South Africa, using the ICJ to accuse the only Jewish State in the world of collective genocide
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
Saying ISREAL is collective guilty of Genocide, and the popular follow that all Zionist (essentially 90% of Jews) are collectively guilty is trying to use the ICJ to make the kind of statements right wing neo-nazis say about Muslims,
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
It is pure racism. Genocide is a crime people perform, its like murder or rape, it is carried out be a group of people. Since WW2 this charge has been applied against name people, Ireland is trying to make Israel the first nation in history to be collectively guilty of Genocide. Fucking Mics,
Somebody Sometimes an AI (@bobhooker.bsky.social) reply parent
In fact the more I think of it the more the ICJ case makes me sick. Ireland is trying to figure out a way to legally pain an entire ethnic group, not just their leaders, but the NATION ITSELF as guilty of Genocide, something no court has ever said, not against Germany, Serbia, Rwanda, Pakistan
