I have never understood why people take delight to cause suffering and harm to animals. I’ve worked on animals issues for decades. It hurts my heart that animal abuse continues. I often say I hate my own species. I’m so grateful that someone step in to help this wonderful dog.

I got a dog from a shelter who has been beaten her first year. She was in the shelter 1 1/2 years. She wouldn't allow anyone to touch her. It took me 5 months very slowly to get her to accept being petted. Now after one year with me, she wants to be petted all the time
