Every stray my family picked up and turned into an indoor cat was exactly what I think about with domestication. Snatched up, brought inside, “You’re mine now, kitten~ 💕” Except now the kitty’s being diapered and being given soft toys and knows they’re not getting out of this and GRRAAAAHH 😵💫
So this is the true purpose of the Cat Distribution System... Well I'm not gonna complain, you look cuter in diapers~

I mean, think about it. The cats we usually take in often aren’t kittens. They may be juvenile cats, they may be adult cats. And what is it we do to them? We baby them and coo at them and we snuggle them and treat them like our own… … Have I been envious this whole time?

That's genuinely what I do to goblins in the story I write 😄 "Being adopted by an alien creature that sees us as pamperable pets" is also a huge button for me.
especially when the kittens were broken of any shyness from the owners hands, the nice rubs, the playing, the warm cuddles, the bottle feedings, and the cleaning. so they not only associate the owners hands with food, but fun, protection, and comfort, especially when it comes time to change them.
