The problem with your (sic.) "solution" is, unfortunately, Russia seems to be in a much superior position to win a long-term war of attrition against Ukraine, with or without "limitless European support". The only thing that might change that, is "deployment of European troops" -- e.g. "WW3".
You should realize that Russia is a shit country with shitty economy, and Europe is in the zenith of its capability
By the way... I have no problem in stating that Putin is a dreadful, cynical war criminal, and that Russia has a lot of explaining to do, relative to its aggression against Ukraine. But that is a different thing from airily dismissing Russia's real war capabilities... which are "substantial".

The original sin was to imagine there was some way of ending the war that didn't amount to Russian defeat. Given Putin's objectives, that is impossible.
