It's more of a maintenance issue, the US military is effective mainly because of overwhelming logistics but the vehicles take crews of people to maintain and they need a lot of technical expertise that makes it impossible to train enough people to make it effective. I was/am a Marine.

Probably 3 main factors: 1) parts/maintenance as you said 2) fuel efficiency 3) all tanks are sitting ducks to drones, limiting their effective use cases The age of the tank might be over after barely a century.
