Dems aren’t without criticism, but they support rural & poor Americans through laws like the Farm Bill, Rural Electrification Act, community health centers, USDA rural programs, SNAP, Medicaid expansion & housing assistance. Some GOP say those are Socialism.

What is an example of a policy in a Socialist-state that only helps rural poor & not “support corporations” AND doesn’t have a mixed-economy equivalent policy? If Socialism does the same or if mixed economies have equivalent (I’d say yes to both), then there is no real criticism.

Ow my head @woke-dui-hire.bsky.social

given how many prominent libs are on the flight logs, "fuck kids" seems to be a hobby of theirs in general.

A lot of liberals forget that there are lots of people who vote blue in red states, and lots who vote red in blue states. Lots of poor and minority folks and children in all states who don't deserve to suffer because of how the majority voted.

I realized recently that they frame it as if it’s rural areas, but really, it’s the suburbs. It’s the rich people from the city who don’t live in the city, and the rich small business owners from the country side who don’t like in the country side. It’s actually the wealthy suburbs.

Thomas Frank nailed it when he specified it's not just the top 1% that's the problem, it's the top 10-15% and the entire professional-managerial class that props it up that's the problem

Yes, exactly. That’s the real ruling class. Not just the 1,000 billionaires.

I’m very much okay with abandoning the rich suburbanites and throwing them into the trash and under the bus or whatever they want to do to them. Let’s see if we can all agree on this version.

I'm for it. I'm from Ohio and in every election these people say the classist trope, "I'm not from Ohio, I'm from Cleveland" (spoiler they don't, they live in suburbs like Iron City or Lakewood or Parma).

Thank you! I live in horribly deep red Arkansas, where Trump got over 700k votes… but Harris got 396,905. That’s almost 400k people who voted for Harris even knowing she couldn’t possibly win this state. 400k people that some libs want to just abandon.
