It would have been different if Mitch McConnell had whipped the Republican senate to vote for impeachment after January 6th. Trump would have never been able to run for office again. This is entirely the fault of the Republican party.

There is no "the blame". There's a lot of blame to be rightly passed around. Blaming the voters is hardly enlightening. The blame for every negative thing that happens in this nation can, to a justifiable degree, always be assigned to those eligible to vote.

True. 34 felonies didn't budge the MAGA cult at all either. The media brush all of Trump's crimes aside as if they are no big deal, which is why he needed to be locked up immediately after being found with top secret military docs. Teixeira and Winner went directly to jail for less.

They drug their feet gathering evidence when they should have arrested him along with the other treasonous criminals and tossed his ass in jail to rot.

Yeah, I wonder if we'll ever hear the "true" reason for all the delays...

To be fair democrats have been too skittish all the way back to Nixon actually… but yeah the problem persists. When are we going to start fighting back??

It would have been different for a time, but it would not have rid us of the fascists. As much as I hate the whole situation, we as a country need it. Now we can easily identify the enemy, and will rise up to remove them all. We will have the country that we want when they are gone.

Not a peep out of him. I think if McConnell had not obstructed Obama’s appointment of Garland, he would be happily voting with the RW majority.

He could have been a fine Supreme Court Justice, but was a terrible AG. I get wanting to de-politicize the DOJ, but when you see egregious crimes, you have to prosecute. He failed.
