What the????
What the????
🐕😊
I had a Malamute that would have bolted for the longest run ever as soon as she realized she wasn’t tethered. I apparently needed a Border Collie to manage that problem.
🤣🤣🤣
💙💙💙
😂 So smart!
It's all about the family 😍
Yeah, well, we just have a husky…
Border Collies are so very smart.
ABSOLUTELY spot-on
Whoozagoodboy?🐾
or difference between a dog broken from abusive dog obedience schools and an unbroken dog. we humans actually think we should get to control animals. they should be as free as you are.
I'd heard Border Collies are the smartest dogs. It's true! 👍❤️
That's amazing. Made my day! ❤️
Huskies are gorgeous, but if I wanted a disobedient animal, I’d have a cat. Or better yet, two cats.
Truth. I have three cats. One of them just looks like a dog.
My border collie’s sister would gather the kids who would sneak out of their rooms after bedtime and gently tug on their pj sleeves to lead them back to their bedroom. Was never trained to do it. She just knew between x and y the kids were supposed to be in room a. 🤣🤣🤣
Cute
Love 💕 this!
🐕👍
The first time I let my Sheltie (newly adopted) off leash on an expanse of lawn, he took off in a zigzag pattern, as if herding sheep. He was sooo excited,!
So cute!!
Herding the family ;)
I have a Husky. I can't walk him because when it's time to return home he lies on the ground and he won't move.
He may be in pain. Have the vet give him a once over and a pain and/or gait assessment. If your vet takes an X-ray and says he's fine, find another vet.
Adorable.
When he speaks he says Nark! Nark!
Oh man I *wish* my dog would walk my other dog. 😂
@gothtatertot.bsky.social
Now thats the kind of leaders we need in humans…especially in the field of politics.
Yes, wanting to do the right thing.
"Mom said to get your ass back over here right now!" Oldest child vs middle
Herding drive vs prey drive. I have a Redtick coon hound/border collie mix and even at 13 years old the prey drive wins.
I took my new rescue out for a solo walk. Returned to find the Border Collie locked us out of the house. And he's not even full Border Collie. He's enough Border Collie though.
One pup had an injury & couldn’t do a regular walk so I left her in the car after she did her business & then I took my other pup for a longer walk - maybe just 10mins. I returned to the car to find my seatbelt chewed. Yep, had to replace it. I didn’t learn my lesson though. Next time, I left
injured pup in the house after business complete & took other pup for a walk around the block. The tethered pup managed to escape ! And trashed the kitchen.
We have a gate between our kitchen and dining/living room for that very reason. Fu NY how fast a kitchen can fill up with stuff when it becomes a designated safe-from-psych-dog space. It now holds shoes, slippers, handbags, packages, and anything with a cord.
😂
Luv it & quite true.
That's a very well behaved husky. If I let go of the leash of my husky, he'd be a mile away in a minute
Warum muss ich da nur an @nordseefraeulein.bsky.social und den Typen mit dem unerzogenen Husky denken... 🤣
😇
😁
I've heard that Huskies and similar breeds don't respond to positive reinforcement. They can only be trained with negative. Seems sad.
Even then, it’s an illusion that a good guardian wouldn't test. You can't break their will. Its kind of admirable actually. I love that about them.
Born to run
Huskies are scofflaws.
We have a Shepherd-Lab mix that is incredibly intelligent. She doesn't like any kind of confrontation, as shexame from an abusive home, and will step in the middle of our cats when they are fighting. She's our cat babysitter. She's also extremely loving and lives to be by us.
Truth - My BC is the same
The collie even knew their collar was on loose. Very impressive.
The collie is only leashed by consent, it would put its own collar back on if it could
Yes it does 🐕❤️
How cute
🤣🤣👌🏻
The crazy thing is the border collie can slip his collar/leash whenever they want! Love that! Adorable doggos!
The kid who sits in the front row and brings the teacher an apple.
👍👏😂🐕
A brilliant rendition.
Yes…..I have had a wonder collie (+ corgi mix) for 11-years. She always has to have a job to do
No worries there with the border Collie keeping things in check
Wow!!!
I had a border collie & can confirm.
I had Huskies and can confirm. Except, my huskies would have run for the hills the minute they realized they were untethered. 😂
Awww, I love border collies!
Love it
😝❤️
PERFECT
❤️🐕
They are both all about the rules. But Huskies are about breaking them and then yelling at you about it.
100%. My husky keeps my dobie in line whenever I'm giving them directions. He also loves breaking the rules when given the chance, like when a door or gate is open for a few seconds. He always has a smile on his face when doing it too lol.
For me, the indomitable free spirit of Huskies is admirable. And you need lots of contained space as they have no regard for traffic.
Yep, I love watching my dogs run full speed but only ever in a large piece of land.
Adorable! My golden would grab my mutt’s leash and walk her home.
I have always been more of a Husky, but now that I live with a part husky, know what a difficult child I must have been.
😂 that is hilarious. One has excellent behavior 👏👏👏
Awesome clip, thanks!
My cattle dog does exactly what the border collie did. I wonder if it’s a herding dog breed trait? #CattleDog #HerdingDog
Collies are incredibly intelligent
It just shows you the massive difference in requirements, when you own a puppy. Both require attention, do not misunderstand me. But beyond that, the training, the understanding of what they’re conveying, extremely time-consuming. …plus huge doses of love ❤️ (of course)
God damn narc
They are too smart. Just too damn smart!
She got JOBS!!!
I tried this with our lab mix service dog. I dropped the leash in an empty dog park. She handed it back to me. I removed the leash and she still handed it back to me. 😂
If i drop the leash on my lab she treats it like a starters pistol. She’s gone
😂
😂
Love this!
When my kids were little we had a lab-collie mix and couldn't have him outside when the kids were playing in the backyard. He'd herd them and their friends to the backdoor.
‘You naughty dog… get back over here!’
How sweet.

Absolutely! Having a Husky is like having a permanent 2 years old, incredible intelligent (when they feel like it) I dont think anyone has ever argued with me on a daily basis, then my Arya! 😂
All due respect, naming a husky Arya is really tempting fate. Guaranteed stubborn badass, no other guarantees offered or even hinted at. 😂🤣
Perfect name for her since she is high strong, but also the most loving, talkative, stuborn, spoiled brat! Lol
I had a husky lab mix and no one could tell him to do anything he didn’t want to do. He was a good dog, though stubborn as the day was long.
They are extremely stubborn.
Husky-hound dog mix here. Smart as a whip, argues when he's given a command, and constantly anticipates instead of waiting for the command he doesn't want to follow anyway. But such a charmer:
What a cutie! They are so much fun to have around!
Is he missing an eye or just winking? Either way, he's a total stud 😉
He's winking. 😄
Cool dog!
Thanks! Hard headed as hell, but he's a sweetheart.
😂 That’s spot on! Huskies are like toddlers with fur — super smart, stubborn, and always testing your patience. Arya sounds like she’s got the sass and the brains to keep you on your toes daily. Does she hit you with the “selective hearing” trick too? 👀🐺
I have arguments with her on a daily basis. Unfortunately, she matches my stubbornness! I😂 I have a better chance of my cat listening to me than her!
😂 Sounds like you’ve got a real battle of wills going on there! Honestly, Huskies are like furry lawyers — they’ll argue their case until you either give in or start laughing. At least your cat doesn’t talk back… just ignores you with style.
If they even catch a wiff of freedom, they are gone! 😅
That's the best.
🐕❤️
Wow! Good dog!
Smart doggo!
I’ve never had a smarter dog than Katie. It’s true. Border Collies are on a different level.
Accurate 🤣
Oh my!! I love Border Collies!!!
If only u could leash trump to the collie!!!!!
🥰
Amazing!
Wow! That was truly amazing.
I love this so much. Thanks for making my morning. 🐾
Same as me it make my whole day ❤️🐕
😂 My German Shepard is similar. She ensures that everyone is following the rules.
😂
Oh my gosh THIS is amazing
My fave video of a husky youtu.be/n2V_GTnneFU?...
Haha what a drama queen!
Those are such good dogs
Border collies are totally dedicated to their humans, even if it requires disobedience (wrestling out of the collar) to prove they are loyal.
I love Border Collies.
Sooooooo true🤣🤣🤣
They are so smart!
That is so true.
That’s hilarious!
This dog is a paid actor
Amazing Dogs!!! I want one!
Thats amazing!!
The shaking of the Husky's lead.
Border Collie - brilliant
Ahhhhh👍
That’s a smart dog. 🐶
Thinking about how the dog knows it can take its collar off at anytime, but it is such a stickler for the rules! 😅
Like a mother's countdown. She doesn't necessarily want to, but will if she has to 🤔

The Border Collie's passion to herd is almost perfect for Husky ownership.
🤣 ❤️
LoL 😅
A Schipperke would have been gone❗️❗️❗️Lol
Some babies are better babies that others
Hahaha! Love it!
My Samoyed got out through gate - I looked all over and she was standing right outside front door waiting for me to let her in
If only MAGA voters were that smart.
@comeundone.bsky.social
good one!
Fantastic!
Now show us a border collie herding raindrops, or smoke, or cats, or toddlers, or surfers, or clouds reflected in a pond. Ours have tried to herd them all. The border collar herding compulsion can take a turn for the bizarre.
Our border collie mix would herd the dust motes that reflected in the sun coming through our picture window.
aww soo cute
Not my border collie. He'd be gone 🤣
That's what I was expecting when the collar came off
... across the border.
Don't be too sure. Although ISDA registered, one of ours was a 💯% family pet - couldn't herd her own front paws. Then one day we're driving over moor over Weardale in the Land Rover we had at the time and she clocks sheep grazing on unfenced land. I stantly her demeanour changes completely...
We had a Shetland sheepdog who'd never seen a cow or sheep. We went to visit a friend on a cattle ranch, and when we opened the door, she leaped out, ran straight over to the cattle and started rounding them up!
... She stiffened and goes from scatter-brained family pet to sheep collecting machine as her eyes narrow & her head jerks scanning the sheep. Then she gives me a look to say: "Stop the car, give me 3 minutes and have the back door open!" I swear if she'd got out my car would've had 20 sheep in it.
My family had a border collie mix, way back in the day. We then got a weird little shi-tzu, mixed with who even knows. The important thing is, he had curly hair, like a sheep. Well, a lamb. He was about the size of a 7-layer burrito. The border collie recognized him as a lamb and herded him.
I mean, she herded him back and forth from one side of the yard to the other, every chance she got. I'm pretty sure he was dumber than a sheep, though, because he never understood that she wanted him to keep going in any direction. He would just drift around, with her cutting him off continually.
Lived with a roommate & her wonderful Aussie for several seasons, and my sister sent me slippers for Xmas. Sheepskin slippers. I couldn’t walk through the house w/o that dog trying to herd me in some other direction. Finally had to store them on a high shelf til I moved.
🤣🤣🤣
"Calvin, please, I really need to go to the bathroom" "Oh, no, living room for you, girl!"
She has discovered her glorious purpose. She'll never be the same
I rounded up half a dozen horses while on horseback, solo, excepting for the assistance of a 6 month old cattle dog. This was on the open range in Montana, and it was, for all intents, my second time on a horse. That little puppy knew exactly what to do
Mine would be off an “adventure” immediately as well…speaking from experience!
@polarnerd.bsky.social yet another video that makes me wish I had a Border Collie and not a Husky or at least a Border Collie babysitter for my Husky.
Yeah, I love all of our Border Collies, but that part about shaking out of their collar and leash is 100% real. They only stay at my house because they want to... no restraint could keep them there if they decided to leave.
Years and years ago, I looked into getting a Border Collie for my dad (his favorite breed and one we had as children) but the man at the pet shop (this was before we had rescues or shelters, only dog pounds) said he couldn’t keep one because they opened doors and unlocked cages. Too smart for me.
Not an exaggeration at all. We have key-code (number pad) locks on several things inside our house, including medicine cabinets and the spice cupboard.
Most Huskies would be a quarter mile down the road, not loitering nearby.
Love this ❤️
BC is like a MAGA ....
The husky is smarter I had a husky for 13 years she was smart
Years ago, I lived near a very large field, and one snowy day while letting my dogs out, my husky puppy took off across the field. I didn't have my boots nearby to go after her, so I looked at my Aussie shepherd and said, "go get her", and he did. Literally herded her back to our door.
We had a chihuahua and border collie mix..she was smart like this! 🥰
Wow she looks almost spot on to my chihuahua mix...although your girl looks a bit bigger...prolly cos of the border collie....we aren't sure what ours is mixed with, but whatever it is, she is a handful either way. 🤣 Beautiful girl you have!! ❤️
Had…my sons ex-gf left and took her with her, and she took our cat bagheera too. She informed us later she chipped them both so not to try anything. 🥲
Wow! That was a close call. Sorry you lost your pets, but it was better than having your son married to her!
Awesome 👏
Good Doggie!
I can’t even train my border collie to NOT pull a roast out of a 375Deg oven.
This is amazing.
Wow so sweet
My dog needs a border collie
This is Fabulous! 🤣
😂🐕❤️
😂 The herding instinct is strong.
Love this 😄
I Just like my dog. Except....
Good boy! 🤗😁

Border Collies for life!
😂😂 both beautiful- - but, OMG!! Border collie is amazing/ awesome!😄😄❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thank you!!
Ya does whatever it takes to herd the strays back.
Hhhhh 😆
😂😂😍
The herding instinct!
Love it! I had a border mix female; she was good about not taking off if her lead was dropped. She'd just sit & wait for me. My male mix, though, he had Husky and a few other things in him, and he'd dig his way out of the yard to visit buddies. If I dropped his lead he was off and running.
📌
Yep. We have a BC and they need a job!
💚💚
They both need to walk a lot daily. Like miles. But they are great breeds.
I have a mix of both. What happens then? Chaos in their heads 😂
He has to herd 😂
🤣
My poms would have been out of there lmao

They are amazing dogs.
That was a surprise ending
❤️❤️❤️
📌
OMG! I need a boarder collie to keep my husky in line! BRILLIANT!
I wish I had thought of this!
Husky dumber than a stump, Border Collie smarter than MAGA
Border collies are narcs
No narcs are disloyal.
Love this! Huskies are escape artists. Maybe every one of them needs a nanny Border Collie.
But what’s your furniture gonna look like?
Yep, they're so smart, I love them! I could go to blocks and tell my dog not to move. Walk 2 blocks away. And she wouldn't move until I said here. She would go get her leash and bring it to me. Then take herself for a walk and come back and either bark. Or scratch on the door when she was done!
So funny! and SO true!🐕😻
Such a good boy 🥰
We adopted a Blue Heeler from people who gave her away!!!! Best dog we ever had. She took such good care of us. We miss her so!
So smart!
You can tell who the older fur-sibling is 🤣
This is brilliant!
Wow! Smart and fun dog!
🤣
Love it!
Border Collies are the best, smartest breed!!!
Yeah 😊
Love it. Too cute.
So true! Both are quite intelligent. The husky is a freedom fighter and the border collie is more of a service animal.
I had a wolf, malamute, husky hybrid. When he was off leash and knew I couldn’t reach him he would sprint away for about 3 hours. I could always find him at the neighborhood Dairy Queen. He knew that if he put his head on the counter, they’d give him a single dip.
My border would take off but she would come back slowly after calling her, stopping every so often while looking at me on her way, lol.
Collie be like: Here you dropped this. (Pause) Wait, hang on, I gotta go get our idiot.
How wonderful. What a great family member!
Hi there How are you doing today
Taught as much
So smart!
🤣
@kulturbolschewi.bsky.social 🤣
Omgosh I didn’t wait long enough to watch the last part…. Hysterical! Great herding by the border collie of course!!!!
Yep, husky just keeps on truckin! Oh wait, is that a treat bag you’re waving? Oh ok I’ll come back to have some…
I can't love this enough. 😍
Luv it!
Good dog!! ❤️😅🥰
I've never seen anything like this before, their own leash sure, but to go and bring the husky back, damn, the owner wont need to be there soon
AI dog! 😅
Or trained.
I used to see a couple leave their dogs outside of the local supermarket. One was a Golden, and the other two were papillons. They'd attaches the pappies leashes to the Golden's collar and tell her to stay put. She'd just lie down and let them jump around and try to drag her.
I would have loved to see that 🥰
A Golden’s connection is 95% blessing and 5% curse. My boy feels he needs to be with me and my wife and interacting with us if at all possible. He’d never stray lol
That's a well trained animal.
I'm a cat person so I've never seen this behavior either. I know border collies are very obedient and disciplined but this is a whole nother level.
😂😂😂
I need a BC to herd my cats at feeding and meds/treatment times. 😻😻😻
😆🤣 Too great. ✌️
The 'working dog' mindset seems bred-into collies. They're kinda half-way there without any training.
The border collie is saying "Get your ass over here!"
Awesome. Smart! Thanks!
I once had a neighbor's border collie round me up as I walked from the bus stop to my place. It was so cute!
Great story 🤣🤣
