Don't mind that one. They're disconnected from politics in this country as evidenced by their support for Buttigieg, and they've been kept busy on Bluesky for the past 9 hours.
My opinion is not fully formed on Buttigieg yet. I still need to do my own research. Based on his 2020 platform as presidential candidate I like him. I have drawbacks about his failures as Mayor to diversify the police and change the Public Safety Board.
So now you’re claiming he’s transphobic. Please point me to where he said that and not from an opinion page but an actual full statement not cherry picked partial comments that are in the middle of a speech he has made or mid comment in an interview where his words are taken out of context.
Done. Here he is saying trans people shouldn't get involved in sports, along with the full speech. thehill.com/homenews/lgb...
I read the article along with the same statement posted on The Advocate and he does not say trans people shouldn’t get involved with sports. I question whether people actually read articles or if this is a failure of the education system to teach reading comprehension.
His statements were actually in support of trans rights and Republican politicians using trans people as political pawns. His comments regarding sports participation revolves around ensuring fairness within individual sports and politicians shouldn’t be part of the process.
@ellekenney.bsky.social you're best to ignore the account you're responding to... it's sole purpose is to create chaos...it stalked me for hours...jumps in wherever I am to spew...muted it and it's now become solely an analysis to see how long it takes @safety.bsky.app to react to reporting it...
That's a lot of words to say that your attempt to harass someone into blocking you didn't work out how you thought it would.
what a weird way to say “i argued with someone who disagreed with me and lost”
@polreader.bsky.social is a great source for any questions...
Hey fwend, tell your little buddy to unblock me so we can have more fun, too.
I’ll be glad to answer any questions you have.
So you're arguing that he didn't publicly confirm that his book made him millions ??? He literally stated it... “I wrote a best-selling book. If you write a best-selling book, you can be a millionaire, too,” he said.
He has earned $2.5M in book royalties between 2011 and 2022 an average of $227,273 annually.
And you haven’t factored in the costs of promoting the book.
I don't have to I have zero problems with Bernie getting financially compensated for his book... it's deserving...I just don't appreciate his tendency to pocket individuals into groups and then blame them for all the ills... that's my primary problem
He’s against the wealthy that buy elections, pay for play, tax structure and wage laws that concentrate wealth to few…And he’s right. The wealthy especially on the right have somehow convinced their Rep base that they don’t deserve fair treatment and their problems are from immigration & liberals.
I know his 📢 well
