So what's your solution then? Do nothing? Let the groomers and pedos into your kids bedrooms? Like I said it's not a perfect solution. Calling for it to be repealed won't make it better, come up with a solution to improve it and propose that!!!

the solution is to raise your kids better idk restrictions never stopped any kid from anything be it drinking alcohol, watching porn or whatever if the kid is determined enough (which they all are) they will find a way. And with access to web and AI it's never been more easy to do this stuff

my plan is to not let the government know literally every little thing i ever do on the internet. and not put my privacy at risk by letting random corporations store my personal info the solution to protecting kids is for their parents to do their fucking job and protect their kids!

My entire point was.... This isn't a perfect solution. However fixing it is more productive than repealing it and doing nothing. Lobby for improvement.

okay fair ig how do you fix this? most software companies are not equipped with the right people/skills (or even the interest) to do this verification right! it will end in a massive disaster. also internet by design is built in such a way that you can't just block stuff like this
