What Swalwell said there is borderline slanderous, and very funny considering Zohran won a huge share of NYC Jews in the primary. It turns out that NYC Jews 1.) care about political phenomena beyond Israel, and 2.) have a diversity of views on Israel. Jews aren’t a monolith.

Everyone needs to feel supported. It’s a human thing. One person needs to get their hands dirty then others will follow. Sometimes that’s a loudmouth leading the march or it’s a person in a prison cell with nothing to lose. Other times it’s a dead body, a martyr. Someone has to set the stakes.
