Hillary did the equivalent with her "deplorables" comment and it cost her the election to a clown. Her comment was stupid, and she paid the price (we all have). Trump's will cost him nothing. So, yes, enormous double standards.

If you're talking about the result of a General Election, I agree, Newsom is unelectable (coastal elite, California, skeletons, etc.etc.etc) Pritzker would be my choice for the nomination, and has been for some time now. We'll see what happens.

I was very concerned about Biden before most other Democrats were. After the debate, I knew he was having serious serious trouble. It's unpopular to say in our circles, but he was in no way up to a 2nd term. He should never have run.
