I have dealt with unaccompanied minors. Most of them have families in the US that they stay with, or can stay with. So these children most likely were taken from their homes and families and placed in detention to be trafficked out of the country in the middle of the night. It is evil.

DHS tried to deport hundreds of minors on a Sunday, during a holiday weekend, despite a court order explicitly forbidding them to do so. No low level bureaucrat would do this without explicit directions from the top. Charge Noem and her direct subordinates with contempt RIGHT NOW.

They do see it. Boasberg opened contempt investigations and got shut down by the appeals court. They have hostile superiors and are being forced to be VERY conservative, careful, and judicious. They have zero slack.

If they are in ORR custody then she can order their return. If they aren’t in custody then they violated the order. Would require a custody agreement with 3rd country and they’d have to produce. It’s not likely to happen this way.

Well, I think that's what did happen in the JGG case, if I recall correctly. I do think DOJ would do it until the Supreme Court denies a DOJ emergency application to vacate it. Truth be told, I think that even if the Supreme Court denies the application in one case, they may grant in the next one.
