Finished product that’s all veggies, zero guilt, super tasty. This would not have happened if I didn’t spot the farmer with the Serrano peppers. I took peppers for granted in Colorado, but anything beyond jalapeños are tough to find in Canada. So nice to have this again
I wanna start a Black Market for hard to find, and expensive foodstuffs. Let's call it STOVE Enterprises. S-affron, T-ruffles, O -live oil, V-anilla, E-tc. (Yeah. A lot of stuff that our tarrifs are affecting.)
Mmmmmmm green salsa
I’m going to try roasting the poblano like I do red peppers next time I make some.
Yeah, that sounds good!
That looks amazing!! We are growing so many tomatillos, what is your process? I've been roasting them and then making sauce, but it always feels a little bit too sweet... and I really want to make some salsa.
I boil rather than roast; 12 minutes for the tomatillos, garlic, onion, and peppers. Throw in a blender with cilantro and blend!
Serranos are so delicious. That looks outstanding. Love me some tomatillo salsa.
Ooh that looks so good!
Can take the boy out of the southwest….
That is a well stocked farmers market you have
Right now for sure—August and September is amazing here
It sure is!
