Lists are for strict budgets or items that are out of the ordinary. Bread, milk, eggs—STAPLES, should be common sense and checked before shopping by the person doing the shopping.

I shop monthly on SS payday and once in between. My overall cost has risen about 50%. eggs have stabilized here but coffee is double. I only buy $25 of gas.....regardless of the price.

Where do you live? In Maryland, pick your own is more expensive than the supermarket. Same with apples v store-bought applesauce. We still get most produce from local farms, but we can afford it (for now).
