Bluesky is a clear replica of Twitter, it has the Twitter UI. Looking through my Bluesky feed it is still very text-heavy. A dedicated Photo View would be nice.

They're both on the same protocol. A Flash post could show up in your bluesky feed, and vice versa for an image bsky post

Amazon owns the subsidiaries like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Whole Foods, Audible, Ring, Goodreads, IMDb, Zappos, Twitch and Goodreads. They own products like Prime and Kindle. We're stuck.

AWS running government services is what really gets me. If you pay taxes, or buy things from people that pay taxes, Amazon are getting a tiny slice of whatever you earn or spend. It is literally impossible to exist without making Amazon richer.

I'm in several groups on Facebook besides having relatives who only use it and have never used any other social media. I really wish someone would come up with a similar program that is user friendly for the inexperienced folk so I could talk them into leaving FB with me.
