I’d LOVE to be the Democratic president when Texas secedes. I’d blockade their ports, cut their rail lines, bulldoze every highway leading out, and establish a no-fly zone over the entire state. We’d see how self sufficient those clowns really are.

I would too except for the fact that Texas is indeed slowly turning blue and that is why the republicans are desperate to gerrymander-to hold it off. Those blue dots there need to be honored (& multiplied) for what they are going through.

I'm rural, own/operate a ranch and farm and have voted democratic for the last 32 years in Texas. as @snowbuni.bsky.social says, please don't paint all of us the broad brush - we #resist and oppose #corruption as much as possible, but the deck is stacked. We continue to press for reforms.
