Indeed. I was dumbfounded when I realized MY KIDS do not know how to Critically Think. Not at all. I didn't know critical thinking was a skill that was taught. Guiding them as adults to cover what their teachers weren't ALLOWED to teach has been awful, as my kids think they WERE taught.
