Once again: Germany has not (yet?) issued a travel warning for the USA. Don't take my word for it, check yourself at the relevant Web page of the Auswärtiges Amt: www.auswaertiges-amt.de/de/reiseunds... I wish US and UK media would do the minimum due diligence before making such claims.

The German Auswärtiges Amt did update their general travel guidance for the US (guidance that exists for most countries and includes recommendations to observe speed limits, tornado and earthquake risks, etc) to include guidance for people with X specified as gender in their passports.
