It's such an absurd statement that it's almost a taunt.

I find her assertion that Trump is a "perfect gentleman" to be laughable and absurd. By his own admission and countless examples, we know he is anything BUT a gentleman. Why would she make this unprompted statement?

So the whole Russia Russia Russia thing was obviously a hoax, right? Because why would anyone think Trump and Putin would work together??

This would be a great opportunity for teachers to create lesson plans about "adultery": first, definitions, then examples from real life. Famous people would be excellent examples, and teachers could show videos and play audio of "Dear leader" committing adultery and speaking of sexual assault.
rachymac.bsky.social (@rachymac.bsky.social) reply parent
It seems rather snowflakeish to charge someone with a felony for throwing a sandwich.

Versailles...Does he think of himself as Louis the XIV reincarnated? The "Sun King?"

I live in NC, which is already gerrymandered. After all these states have gerrymandered the opposing party out of relevance, our country's elections become pretty much meaningless. As Yeats said, "... Things fall apart; the center cannot hold..."
rachymac.bsky.social (@rachymac.bsky.social) reply parent
Having the 10 commandments in class would be a great teaching opportunity. I always taught with examples, so there would be plenty of resources for the adultery commandment. First you'd have to define adultery (having sex outside of marriage). Then you could simply use the President as an example.

One thing I've noticed about the fight for civil rights, whether for women or black people, is that we never say WHOM we have to fight. We are always fighting conservatives, mostly men but plenty of women. It's conservatives who steal people's rights. We should be more clear about that.

Everyone who voted for him knows he is a sexual predator. Very little of the Epstein revelations are new. MAGA people already know and don't care. They already accepted the card as being a fake, even though I'm sure the WSJ checked the source thoroughly.

There's a very good reason why the southern border is secure now. No one wants to come here anymore. We're not a "shining city on a hill" but a dark dystopia of cruelty.

It's a criminal offense to deny due process and to inflict cruel and unusual punishment. It's also illegal to defy the courts.
rachymac.bsky.social (@rachymac.bsky.social) reply parent
People who care about what's "legal" should know that it's ILLEGAL to deny any person due process. It's ILLEGAL to inflict cruel and unusual punishment. And using mosquitoes and alligators as enforcement officers most certainly qualifies as "Cruel and unusual punishment."
rachymac.bsky.social (@rachymac.bsky.social) reply parent
People who seemingly care about the law don't seen to care that ICE breaks the law EVERY TIME they assault someone without due process. They are also breaking the law by keeping human beings in sub human conditions. Read the 5th, 8th, and 14th amendments.
