This needs to be discussed publically all the time! I try to talk with my 16 & 18 year old about this every time they come home with Starbucks & other big brands (everything tech has to be apple). Stop funding the billionaires! Push for wealth distribution to actually make the world a better place

Very good article. Also if crime is up, the solution isn't more prisons and killing the bad guys, its finding out why crime is up and what to do about that. Bottom up always works better than a top down approach. Fix the foundation first.

Its infuriating. Some people think there are actual LGBTQIA+ classes being taught. Which they are not. The irony is that in Catholic schools children actually take religion classes (maybe they can be opted out of, but religion is everywhere in the catholic schools).
I work in Ontario schools. There are girls in hijabs attending them. From what I've heard, parents choose the catholic board because they don't agree with the public sex ed curriculum (which you can opt out of) and the promoting/positive attitudes towards pride/LGBTQIA+ 😢😡

I also used to think that lots of fires were started by lightning in Canada. But I was corrected. The majority of forest fires in Canada are started by human activity. However, they are almost always accidents. Only a few are started intentionally.
They will blame it on the federal government. In Alberta everything always seems to be the fault of the feds. Unless it's a conservative gov't. Then they seem to excuse their shortcomings.
They also need to reinvest in forest management and controlled burns!

I was raised that way too (strict Catholic, no sex before marriage or burn in hell). I purposely did things Im not proud of and could have gotten me in trouble (luckily it didn't) and I blame it on that strict upbringing. Our laws need to change. The blame is always on the woman.
