There is such a gap between what some people think the system is likely to do or is supposed to do, and what it actually does. Tweaking the system only entrenches its patterns further and gives it more legitimacy, so that justice and liberation become even more difficult.
As for libertarian, misunderstanding and misuse began in English shortly after the word arrived on this continent, well before it was intentionally done. I've been doing more research.
That's part of why the "ist". The other part is not wanting to pervert perfectly good words like libertarian or liberation, as PSL and the peculiarly propertarian liberals are doing. Plus, what PSL does there is already famously obvious.
I was deliberately vague; curious about which way you'd take it. Liberationist/liberationism is superior. Let's use it ourselves.

There is much to dislike about Democrats from a libertarian perspective, AND great opposition in fundamentals; but no one is referring to libertarian views at all here, far less classical ones. Please understand "classical libertarian" is the only remaining referent for what libertarian means.
