Turns out Kier Starmer understands and agrees with racists, as he accepts the premise of their anger. He doesn't want the hotels closed because he wants migrants applications processed swiftly so they can get on with their lives. He wants hotels closed to placate unhinged racists!!! 🙄

A judgement passed without an audience is one nobody can be expected to abide by. So we should be thankful to the people who take the trouble to read, explain and publicise our laws as interpreted by our courts, for without them we may lack the understanding of why the law functions as it does.

Ouch! The sharp spear of a flawed assumption. The only political party I have ever been a member of is the Conservatives. I just dislike dishonesty wherever it comes from, and the overwhelming majority of that misrepresentation comes people who present themselves as you do.
At what point do we say enough is enough? If government policy is to fine parents for not ensuring their children attend school, surely MPs, leaders or parties should be fined if certain parliamentary attendance conditions are not met!

The ECHR creates a backstop of legal appeals against changes to UK Laws. Without it the Government could scrap the State Pension, Minimum Wage, Working Hour Limits and Paid Holiday in 1 day and there is nothing you could do. This is exactly what Farage would do.

Can I just put on the record, this grifter does not speak for me. I recognise that without migration, wage suppression is easier, without respect trade gets more expensive, so the question people need to be asking is "how much poorer are you prepared to be to enact these plans?"
It's simple, if you throw paint on a plane then you get proscribed and any 80 year olds defending you get arrested. If you ask people to burn down hotels, and they try, you get an interview in the Telegraph and positive coverage in the BBC. That's sensible, proportionate policing.
Not to mention that all that effort would bring negligible benefit to anyone... not that Reform have been at all clear on the real benefit to voters of stopping the boats. The narrative needs to shift from "this is the solution" to "what is the problem we are trying to solve?"

The very definition of "damned if you do, damned if you don't". Obviously it could have been avoided by addressing complaints BEFORE filming, but I would suggest the guilty parties have been punished. Is it fair to punish the contestants as well? Could the hosts be edited out and voiceovers added?

I'm one of those saying "what's your solution?" but you've just given a very coherent answer to that question. Some measures will work because they target a specific problem. Where the problem isn't defined, responses will fail. So we need to sort the wheat from the chaff, see what to keep / revise.
Random question: why are people from other countries moving here referred to, disparagingly, as "migrants" while Brits moving abroad are "expats"? Chances are they followed, or are following, similar processes, and have similar paperwork. Would we tolerate this kind of protest against Brits abroad?

That's the fundamental truth too often ignored. If I went into the statistics of a place like Epping, most likely most of the crime, and especially assaults, would be perpetrated by the those 'within' the community, but we won't see 'concerned citizens' protesting outside those offenders' homes.
