I'll say this for the Republicans: they do not study history. They will lose; the only question is whether they lose by the ballot or the guillotine.
I do genealogy, and I can see from the records where families lost half their children within a week. I believe in vaccines, but I am a polio survivor, so I have a good reason for my belief.

The robbery rate has significantly increased in the past week, according to the Washington Post. No, the DC Police are not for show, but the National Guard is.

The National Guard was sent to Washington, DC, and yes, crime significantly dropped in the first week. Well, armed robbery is now higher than before. The reason is simple: the criminals have discovered that this is all for show. Criminals 1; DC 0

I served in the US Navy for 25 years. I love our flag and what it stands for. When I see pictures of someone burning it, it is like fingernails on a blackboard. However, I fully support people's right to burn our flag in protest. Maybe protest should be like fingernails on a blackboard.

The programs could be written to disregard party affiliation, but that doesn't happen.
Gerrymandering is bad. Both parties do this. It is clearly undemocratic. Normally, it occurs once every ten years based on census results. What is happening now in Texas is bad on bad. One thing that Americans agree on is that they do not like cheaters. What Texas is trying to do is cheat.
