MiSTer Sega CD core works well with Snatcher. It’s a pricey barrier to entry, but nowhere near the cost of an actual copy of the game. It runs flawlessly on it though.

I have to be honest. The vitriol around this game is too much. The price is too high, no question, but the quality of the port is also high, and if you’re not nitpicking, it’s as enjoyable a platforming experience as it ever was. Why does Donkey Kong always have to get treated so poorly?
