Thanks for pointing that out - I appreciate that sensitivity to the energy consumption. Still seem to be costs & benefits that need to be weighed & further efficiencies accomplished when using AI. I’d rather the clean energy was used to replace dirty energy currently being used for critical needs.

Another problematic part of AI forecasts is the tremendous amount of energy consumed and emissions belched out to produce them. They actually add to the attribution problems of climate change. Even if they pull clean energy to get it, that’s energy that could have reduced other emissions elsewhere.

I realize broad science-literacy problems cannot generally be solved just by shoving more facts at people but I really wish more people understood that the entire purpose and mechanism of a vaccine is to educate your OWN immune system, making it about the most "natural" medical intervention possible
