The most legitimately heartbreaking thing in Stardew as someone who's roommates with Krobus is that sometimes, for just a second, I think Krobus is here to come see me on the farm, and it turns out instead it's a shadow monster attacking me, and I'm forced to kill them. IN VIEW OF KROBUS!!!

Gosh, I mean, in my video I said I was 1500 and plugged my chess coach in the comments, and some guy was like "why do you have a chess coach, no one needs a coach until you're 2000 at least" when my coach has hugely helped me get from 400 to 1500!! The idea is typically that learning opening *principles* (castle early, develop, control the center) is more important than learning specific *moves*. But at the same time, idk. By the time you're, like, 800 minimum, everyone else is learning openings. I think it's useful to know them too
One thing I absolutely agree with is that learning the *ideas* behind an opening is more important than just rote memorizing moves - that's what allows you to take advantage of tactical opportunities if they break from theory! But leave my beloved openings ALONEEE
