I love to show up every day for my job, which is standing around holding the front of my tactical vest and getting told to choke to death by thousands of passers-by while 11 of my coworkers handcuff a roofer on his way to work. Every night I drive 80 minutes home, thinking about nothing at all.

"It's not MSNBC anymore, Lemon. It's MS NOW. We bought the name off of a defunct multiple sclerosis awareness organization. It wasn't cheap, but we were able to save some money by selling Brian Williams to a Saudi prince who wanted to expand his harem."

Just punch him in the face over and over and over and over, as hard as you can, and don't apologize for it a single time. Jesus.

Six weeks out from the government funding deadline, many Senate Democrats are in the process of convincing themselves they have no choice but to cave. One of their main rationales will be a bad read of mostly irrelevant history. In truth they’re just scared of the unknown.

Those Democrats who are telling us that the midterms will save us are lulling us into disaster. Elections are important, but only when accompanied by an enormous mass movement. Otherwise, the elections won't matter.

continue to think that a major issue is the extent to which too many elected democrats are mentally captive to the politics of the 1980s and 1990s in ways that leave them unable to try new things

Anyone who is claiming all we have to do is wait and vote in 26 or 28 to stop this are either naive or activly attempting to pacify people and stop Them from actively trying to stop the rapidly hardening fascist government.
