It’s still early, but pretty good turnout so far for Bernie Sanders and Graham Platner’s (running against Susan Collins) rally here in Maine today.
Trump won because the Democrats failed to back one candidate. It's really as simple as that. I'm convinced Biden could have won but the elite in his party destroyed his chance. The fact that Harris was chosen PROVED she was the next most viable candidate. The rest were not even in the running.
Most folks misunderstand the dynamics of what happened. She failed, but other than Biden, she had the BEST chance. That's on the Democrat's "leading voices". Right out of the gate, even before Bidens bad debate, they PUSHED to divided the vote and lost before they even started, period.
"Scapegoats" for what? The CEO's job is to "lead" a company. If there is a breakdown or failure, that's a function of leadership. They aren't being scapegoated, they are being held responsible for the choices they have made or NOT made. We're not talking about an inadvertent bad act by an employee.
He doesn't need a briefing ... it's my understanding that he learned everything he needed to know about healthcare and medicine, by being a lifelong abuser of illicit drugs.

No. Democrats lost because they were divided, period. Biden was their only real viable choice with Harris being their only viable alternative. NO ONE had more supporters than she did, except Biden. The idea that any other D candidate could have even gotten as close is wishful thinking.
I told everyone she would lose, exactly because she was a Black woman. I also told them, outside of Biden, she had the best chance to win ... that does not equate to her not being the most qualified. America rarely picks the most qualified, they almost always chose the most charismatic.
"Someone that old" was Trump, and his age didn't prevent him from getting elected. The GOnceP convinced the left that Biden was too old, and Biden had a terrible debate, but I totally disagree that anyone could have done better. The Democratic machine did worse, not Biden.
I can't argue with that. The problem with corporations is that there are so many executives. When someone needs to be punished, it's hardly ever the people ultimately responsible, the CEO. The CEO gets all the credit and the money rewards, and rarely the consequences for their decisions.
The money is more important than the lives ... Exxon proves it. Hopefully, when Ukraine wins, they will make Exxon wish they sided with morality, not the money.

I don't agree. Harris was the SINGULAR most experienced at federal level executive experience, simply because she was VP. If Biden had won, he would have resigned next year and she would have been president, giving her the greatest chance she would ever have to take it with votes.
He actually Biden did do more to directly address the lives of the working class and poor. Unfortunately, time was not on his side and Trump has negated much of his efforts. Biden DID lower drugs prices ... we know that because Trump cancelled those policies.
People need to stop thinking of corporations as "the enemy". Certain of their CEO's are as greedy as Trump, but for the most part, particularly the smaller ones, they are just trying to do the best they can with the resources they have ... granted, few of them are in the business of charity.

...but if the Democrats hadn't cut his legs out from under him, Harris would have been president in 2026. Biden played the cards he was dealt. Anyone who cared to extrapolate reality could have bet that Harris could not win, and she had the best chance out of any of the other Democrats save Biden.
Biden did more for America than pretty much any modern president before him. I get that folks hate on him for some reason that has nothing to do with him delivering policies that benefited the American middle class, the poor, and small businesses, the environment, infrastructure, health care...
