I got the MMR vaccine as a kid. I got mumps as an adult. The minute this outbreak started I got another MMR vaccine. From scheduling it to actually getting the shot was like 2 hours and a walk of .1 mile.

It was my first protest, I went by myself & I was in DC. Everyone was so friendly! I wasn’t sure what to do so I wandered around, meet tons of very nice people (& dogs), and it was the most hopefully I’ve felt in a while.

I was in DC. It was at least 100,000 people. And every single one was kind & polite.

From what I’ve seen on other threads, the NYC protest was not expected to be anywhere near this large so the police presence there was equal to the expected crowd.
DC alone was well over 100,000. I’ve heard as high as 200,000 and since I was there, these numbers seem accurate.
I’m guessing everyone in NYC was as polite & kind at the protest as they were in DC.
Thankful I was able to hear this live, in person.
