I was there last Tuesday. I could not believe the traffic in Sister Bay. It was really nice to be there anyway. The villages are so picturesque and lakeshore is so beautiful. I really love the Niagara Escarpment.

I usually go up to the Keweenaw Peninsula, but took a day trip up to Door County. I'll do another day trip when it gets less crowded and probably an short vacation for the Christmas lights.

Cats do tend to change moods quickly. They are happy for attention, then they turn on you. It seems to be their nature.
I have the opposite problem about finding cats. Currently my son's girlfriend is looking for a home for a beautiful calico kitten. Combining my two current cats has been hard enough. It's hard to say no though.
Pets are a lot of work. Cats are easier than dogs as they use a litter box rather than having to go outside.
It was in the 60's out too. Beautiful day for hiking, a little cool for swimming in a big lake.
My husband doesn't like to travel so he's with the cats when I travel. I take my dogs with me which makes accommodations harder, but they love to go on trips.

It's a shame you don't have a cat. I know other people that don't want to get another pet because it hurts so much when they die. The thing is they give so much joy and that's what makes saying goodbye so hard.

I thought it might be because she's FIV positive, but the vet said she's probably just made that way. It's very cute to me though. She loves you fall asleep on laps and then you're trapped unless someone shakes the treat container.

I do have more Lake Superior photos than Lake Michigan, but this is Lake Michigan. The limestone is part of the 650 mile long Niagara Escarpment. I'm sorry I should have labeled it better.

We had a very lovely busy day. I took off with just the dogs. There's a freedom to just going on your own. You can go where you want at what pace you want. Skittles did say enough of the walking though. We hit 4 parks.
I still listen to the Cars frequently. The Cars and REO speedwagon were my older son's favorite bands when he was little. My B-I-L is a talented musician, but went into business.
