AMOC is a climate-driven overturning current that supports northern Europe's warm climate. It's collapse would result in a colder Europe. The Gulf Stream is powered by the rotation of the Earth. For it to collapse, the planet would have to stop spinning. That, the physicists tell me, would be bad.

It's almost as though scraping the intent for source data was a terrible idea, with poor quality images and no way to distinguish between facts and shitposts. Genuinely starting to wonder is bluebberries is some ship name in a k-pop fandom or something.
MsSolo π« π³οΈβπ (@solelyfictional.bsky.social) reply parent
But are there really enough people out there writing BlueBBerries to be statistically significant in the dataset? Is it viewing letters as shapes as well? I don't understand how no one has taught the predictive text generator to count, even if actual maths is too challenging?
MsSolo π« π³οΈβπ (@solelyfictional.bsky.social) reply parent
But the lists of countries with Ls etc make less sense to me. Presumably some of the errors come from common misspellings and ocr errors, and the fact its dataset doesn't include it's immediate output means it contradicts itself constantly.
MsSolo π« π³οΈβπ (@solelyfictional.bsky.social)
So with the images, it does ok labeling large areas, presumably because the source data is clear and consistent, but smaller areas are increasingly nonsensical. Presumably the source images are poor quality, so the letter shapes are harder to distinguish (because it's predicting shapes, not writing)
