Funny story, I used to have a sheep farm in Franklin County, NY. I'm also an insomniac so instead of counting sheep to help me sleep I would count stitches. I had a hard time finding my place yesterday because each time I tried to count stitches, I fell asleep.

Designers are starting to do that now. They are making patterns size inclusive for larger people AND they are making patterns smaller to include children. Berroco got so many requests to size up Kirby that this baby sweater is now available in adult sizes.
It's easy to explain. Knitting is just straight lines. That piece looks curved because I have extra straight lines stacked in between and an arc is merely straight lines intersecting at points. A cable is a straight line with (in this case four) stitches knit out of straight line order.

I was in a hipster coffee shop yesterday (actually CVS) and I overheard two women having a conversation about medicine pricing. Woman 1's prescription costs $194 out of pocket for a 1 month supply but $30 for a 3 month supply with insurance. Woman 2 says "Get government out of insurance" sigh.
