I was curious about the feasibility of a coding project this morning and took two minutes to throw some questions at Copilot (I have All the AIs through work and use none of them) and the first thing it did to answer was to tell me what a great idea I had. Which made me want to tell it to fuck off.

Using different pronouns for my kid than the first thirteen years I've known them has been a challenge, not gonna lie. But the *concept* of pronouns is, uh, not novel for me.

Now to remove a background of an image, instead of selecting the color you want to eliminate, it just guesses and gives you no way to correct the outcome. And it does that for a bunch of shit, just letting genAI *guess* what you want which is supposed to make it easier???
I had an incredibly infuriating experience using Adobe Express this week because it seems they have genAI-ified functions that worked well previously with just regular ass machine learning.
The kids that will be sent to this school are coming from families where it honestly won't matter that much. These celebrity gimmick schools always turn out the same way and in a few years those kids will be right back at Choate or Phillips-Exeter or whatever.
Honestly this is the best possible outcome for these weirdos. A small scale yet expensive project for them to obsess over until it inevitably fails ignominiously in about three years and we never hear about it again? Sounds great, please devote 100% of your time and money to this.
