Not much the minority party can do when the fascists control all three branches. Organizing a general strike with corresponding mutual aid for those of us who are likely to end up homeless due to said general strike would be a great place for the DNC to start.
There’s no means to make them a state while we’re in a fascist dictatorship, though. So DC statehood, while necessary, is pretty low on the list of immediate concerns.
