Did you get the SVB traps? They didnāt work as good this year as last year. I wrote the manuf to let them know the lure wasnāt as good. But the traps got so many SVB last year that it interrupted the lifecycle and there just werenāt as many this year. I donāt think they got into any squash. š

No. I stopped doing that years ago because I get so many tomatoes on the suckers. I was still pruning the branches that donāt fruit to improve airflow but I still had lots of diseased leaves. This year Iām not pruning those either. So far very little disease at all.
Thanks! How much do you cook them before you freeze them? Iād blanched mine last year and then froze them. When I saw them they were mushy.

Experimenting with not pruning my tomatoes this year. #themillenialgardener says the wounds promote disease. Since I frequently have had diseases on my tomato plants I thought Iād give it a try. So far not a single diseased leaf. š¤š¤
