It's my middle boys birthday so I've been busy. Mercifully busy by the sound of it! Just 1 goal up at half time against Andorra? At home?!
With the Diarra ruling, this is definitely possible. I think we're going to see much more churn across all teams in the league as they won't want to see players walking out on their contacts.

Sadly, with PSR, it won't make a huge difference as owners can only invest £15m of pure subsidy over 3 seasons. Anything over that had to be secured owner funding (equity injections or loans that are not repayable on demand). So, the proposed £100m is likely pure PR.
Only just found out that Dexter Oliver has moved to City's academy from our own. Shame as he looks a really good player.

Having a paper value doesn't mean you have immediate access to that money. There are plenty of paper millionaires who struggle to pay the bills month to month.

It's a sensible step to take if you want to sell the club. Simplify the club hierarchy and make it easier for someone to buy in at the very top.
They're (the callers) not wrong. This could be the start of a bright new era with football people in charge of football matters. Or, it could be a precursor to a sale. I think it's the latter.

The players we have brought in have real quality, despite my earlier thoughts on Palhinha, but we have a front heavy squad and have a lack of experienced depth at the back imo. Good window overall but I would have liked to see some players brought in earlier.
I think that's a very mature decision. I hope he gets the game time he's after as it will only benefit us in the long run.

I'm worried that we're light on defenders. If VdV or Romero pick up an injury we're down to bare bones immediately.
But what about the CL squad? That's a more complicated matter. Things were tight before RKM was added to the squad and we're top heavy with attacking players. I've got a 23 man squad but got there by dropping Takai, Dragusin, Davies, Kulu & Biss. To revisit in January.
