It's a little longer than Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy so it's a novel. Not an average sized novel but a novel.
Litchwood book one is now called 'Blank Canvas' and it's the first book of the Moon-Children Trilogy! I hope everyone can look forward to it.

It's mainly the slow first half that I don't like too much but it's grown on me a lot, and I understand why they did it. Give the WoL a break. It can't be a breakneck pace all the time. The WoL needs a break time to time.
I loved Dawntrail. Yeah it has its flaws but it's great. It's fun. People just hate fun.

Thankfully only my operating system is Windows. I use Scrediver for my writing and try to stay far away from any Microsoft products. Don't even use Xbox. I just can't justify what they are doing and it sucks

I have a few, mainly to change the style of attacks because the fit the character I am playing more, but I won't do this. It's not that big of a deal. A little sad but not review bomb worthy. Honestly they need to leave if it made them that upset.

I finished the draft of Litchwood! The technically second but really first draft of Litchwood but its done. I am taking a couple of weeks off writing probably to let my brain rest before tearing apart this draft but yay! Its 142k (too long) but its dooone!!

Yeah I tend not to write a lot of fight scenes because of that. Maybe I need to watch more Werewolf fight scenes/fight scenes in general. We got this!!

The way I have been doing it in the story is just mentioning it. Like; Thorn decided to go with his crutches today to school, careful about the ice patches. Or something similar like that. Just because he needs them doesn't mean its negative!!
but not for long, and somedays he needs a wheelchair or crutches, depending on his strength that day.
I do not have it one hundred precent planned out but its a weakness in the muscles/nerves that never completely recovers thanks to the silver damage. His species (a short of werecreature) are weak to the stuff and he had taken enough to mess him up. He can walk eventually for short periods
I worry about representing characters correctly and also worry about people just saying 'He exists in a magical world why don't they just fix it'. Healing takes time even with magic. And him having mobility problems feels right for the character.
I am playing around with a concept of having my MC deal with mobility problems for the rest of his life. He's supernatural in nature but after a silver poisoning caused him to shift early, he has trouble with movement. But I don't have mobility problems. I do research but... I worry. 1/

I'm gonna finish the first draft of book 1 in my WIP today. The hardest parts of the writing process are yet to come. But you know what? Even if it ends up a terrible book, even if the revision process is absolute hell, I did it. I put in the work. Fuck gen AI. Long live the writing process.
