There is a company in Canada named Edison Motors trying to make work trucks like this. All electric drivetrain with a diesel engine running at constant speed as a generator to top off the battery. Recent YouTube videos claim they are hitting a catch-22 on emissions regulations.

They did this as a way to give the character's backstory. In the novels, Bosch was a Vietnam vet who re-upped for Desert Storm. They had to make him younger for TV, which changed the backstory - now a Desert Storm vet who re-upped after 9/11. The plaintiff's lawyer is a recurring character.

I was driving home from the gym and XM Radio played an Earth, Wind & Fire cover of "Got To Get You Into My Life" by The Beatles. In my view, a cover ought to add something, a twist, a change, to the original song and this qualifies. Joyful. youtu.be/MKskYvTGEHE

I'm confused by the phrase "Maxwell Avenue bridge over Interstate 494" in the article. Maxwell Ave. in Newport goes under I-494. It loops around and crosses the US-10/MN-61 highway on a bridge, where it turns into Bailey Road, which does have a bridge over I-494. Which bridge was it?

Yes, the grief doesn't diminish but the time gaps between the grief being overwhelming get longer. After my wife died I was in a fog for weeks. Not the case after all this time, but sometimes an event triggers me and it feels as if it happened yesterday.

I'm making a recipe I haven't made in a long time. The suggested time of 20 minutes for prep is utterly unrealistic. It took me 60 minutes. I think they are assuming a commercial kitchen where diced onions, green peppers, and celery are pre-cut and ready for measuring.
