As somebody from NH who served in the state legislature while he was Governor, let me ask - WTF is Chris Sununu doing there? The guy ran our state like a teaparty hardliner, but gets a pass from the media because hes got a mild demeanor. He needs to retire into obscurity, not get a national profile.

When I was in the state legislature, I sometimes got memos like this. The results always conflicted directly with the reality I found going door to door in my own district. The advice was always to take the most timid and right-slanted talking points possible, but since I'm fairly left of center ->🧵

One thing I ran into during my time in the legislature was exactly how many people think the "Chamber Of Commerce" is some kind of official org or something. Its not - its THE primary business lobbyist in the United States, at all levels. They shovel huge amounts of money for big business. Thats it.
