I wrote a nice letter that I faxed. Who knows if they'll see it or the office manager will trash it. I wasn't mean, I just asked them to reconsider seeing her and gave a more specific diagnosis.

That's the thing she's 18 so I tried adult. In peds when we refer we are intentionally vague to give the specialist leeway. eg: Referred to derm for nonspecific dermatitis That prevents issues like "My pediatrician referred me for eczema and now you're saying I have psoriasis?"
Referred an 18 year old to rheum because I have concerns she has systemic autoimmune inflammatory disease and the office called back and said they don't treat that. 🙃
