Jesus fucking christ. The Trump administration tried to send a bunch of children to Guatemala at 3 am and justified it by saying that the kids just wanted to return to their parents in Guatemala, but the kids actually told the court that they are afraid of being sent back to Guatemala.
Look at this graph. The share of national income going to the richest 10 percent was lowest (and share to lower 90 percent highest) when union membership was at its highest. As unions have weakened, inequality has widened. This is why we must build back union power.
This is a great time to remind everyone that EOs aren’t laws, the federal government doesn’t manage voting in this way, and it’s all a scare tactic and any reporting that doesn’t provide that context is enabling potentially lawless activity.

I always get a laugh seeing this photo of Peter Thiel because it’s a crypto conference in April 2022. He said crypto was replacing fiat currency. He was then in the process of selling $1.8 billion of crypto before the crash of late 2022. We only learned about the timing of his sales much later.

VA is a disaster right now. I generally don't trust the private sector with my healthcare, yet had wrist surgery three weeks ago at Baylor Scott & White in Dallas because VA couldn't handle it. First time I've had a major procedure or serious condition treated outside the military or VA since 1996.
