Seems like the goal is to eliminate the middle-middle and lower-middle class by over taxation and to let the lower class die by eliminating safety net programs like Medicaid and food assistance. Or maybe they just want to hurt as many people as possible.

Wait so government workers CAN telework full time when its at the convenience of the ….. government? Even when some 20 year old DOGE thinks office space is not needed to work in the OFFICE? My mind just got blown.
I have been saying this for weeks. Imagine you’re not getting your SS check. Now what? You can’t talk to a human. Closing regional office so you can’t go to a nearby office for help. Nope, you’ll just have to go without food electricity gas phone etc cuz AI ain’t fixing it for you!
And while all of government is busy responding to meaningless emails and data calls, for hours every day, the entire government is being dismantled right under the public’s nose.

If employees respond their responses will be used against them. If they do not respond, the lack of response is used against them. The point is to continually villainize fed employees by any and all means. How many taxpayer dollars are wasted by DOGE with these schemes?
There is no right thing to do to keep your job when the goal is to eliminate most, if not all, fed employees. The bar will keep getting higher and higher until nobody, especially those setting the bar, can meet the standard.

Termination for the convenience of the government often means the contractor still gets paid. Just because the govt terminates a contract does not mean its no-cost. DOGE is a liar, set up by a liar, run by a liar.

Not an attorney but could Federal employees file an EEO complaint for OPM creating a hostile work environment and harassment because of these emails? Sending multiple emails asking employees to resign seems like harassment.

Contractors pass all employee overhead (benefits) plus company overhead, G&A, and profit to the Government. The fully burdened rates (salary, benefits, overhead, etc.) of contractor personnel is substantially more than the total cost of Fed employees.
Swear to God, if I hear “in line with the president’s agenda” one more time, someone is getting poked in the eye.
These employees were only doing the job of implementing the policies of other presidents. To punish them with termination, using them as scapegoats, is absurd.
Learn to read statute like a lawyer.
