It pumps pain medicine through an iv into your arm when you press a button. I call it the pain machine, but it's really called PCA (Patient-Controlled Analgesia).

Yes, but it's under control for now. Sleeping is difficult, and I'm definitely ready to go home. They need to get me off the pain machine and on oral meds, hopefully tomorrow and I hope to be going home on Monday. Pathology still hasn't come back for the mass, so we're waiting for that as well. 🤞
Thankfully, the cantaloupe was taken out and sent to pathology. Now I'm in the healing phase. Thanks for offering, but I'm good... my son is with me, and the nurses are taking excellent care of me. 🤗
Current #mood
So yesterday, I had a bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy with omentectomy, total abdominal hysterectomy and radical dissection for debulking. The ovarian mass was 17 cm, the size of a cantaloupe. Waiting for biopsy results. This happened so fast, I'll tell the story when I recover.
