I went to Walmart Pharmacy today and I got three vaccines. I was OK until about two hours ago and OMG I am flat on my back now🥴 after getting the flu shingles and pneumonia vaccines all on the same day! Better to be vaccinated and knocked on your butt for a day versus the other possible results👍

I remember being in Grade 5 and they decided to vaccinate all of us for Hep B (idk if it had just come out?) so the school nurse explained that bloodborne illnesses could be spread by sharing toothbrushes and we were all like “who tf would share a toothbrush” and then we all got vaccinated
was applicable when cases started creeping up at the top of summer, all the moreso during our back to school surge. if you won’t wear a mask to prevent you catching the virus, at least test assiduously to prevent passing it on. imo way more expensive & annoying but you made the maskless choice 🤷🏻♀️

I’m enraged that my friend’s care company are trying to send Covid positive workers to the homes of vulnerable people. After saying that this person would be safe after day 5, my friend insisted that the carer test again - still positive. And most clients won’t ask this person to mask.

we can’t change roads overnight so we wear helmets & seatbelts, both to prevent harm to us, the wearer, & to prevent harm to others, by becoming a projectile in a crash. in order to make systemic change, we need solidarity to survive long enough to both push for it & see the fruits born. mask up.

Many states don’t let you get a COVID vaccine without a prescription as they had existing laws that tied access to official CDC approval. This made sense as a safety measure, but now the CDC has been taken over by antivaxxers, several states are rightfully modifying these laws to reinstate access.

I’ve heard from a couple of messaging strategists now that people shouldn’t post so much about COVID19 vaccines because it’s “divisive”. I am here to say that I do not give a damn what is popular. I will never ignore scientific evidence for the sake of expediency, and neither should anyone else.
“my messaging strategy is NOT to provide accurate messaging” you’ve failed. i have a b.s. in advertising and i’m studying to become a therapist. BOTH deal with changing someone else’s behavior. lying to folks and withholding information is not how you do it. that’s not a strategy.
that isn’t messaging strategy, this is a messaging conformity. a truly successful strategist could give insight on HOW to talk about vaccines in an accessible way. provide guidelines for navigating anti-vax comments. strategy cannot be “rollover and take it” and let misinformation spread.
