It’s already changed for me. Now I could not care less what language I’m working in, let’s just use the one that is best for the job! Very little friction using a new language, and can still apply proper engineering concepts without needing to know all the syntax!

Reducing the carbon in the world will involve finding a way for Russia and others to move away from those critical economic resources. An unenviable task.
I think whether it is true or even likely is almost beside the point, it is part of the propaganda used by the state to justify the continued exploitation of its most important economic resource. It is definitely an easy story to tell the average citizen.
We have to start talking openly about how Russia believes it is the *beneficiary* of climate change. More arable land, open arctic navigation… Oh yea, and they have the most important resources to sell to make that happen.
