Today the universe gave me 2 pair of almost brand new capris, 3 Croft & Barrow tee shirts and a fantastic stretchy perfect black skirt all for $30 and a few cents. I don't shop retail for clothes. Thrift store I go to houses homeless teenagers. Shoes, socks and intimates I buy new of course. 😜

Got a text from my son's grandmother's friend. When she went to visit, she was recognized. Grandmother was laying down and looked at her friend and said, "Hi Mary! I'll get up for you." So glad for this. I hope I get one more lucid moment with her. It breaks my heart she doesn't know me anymore.

I was much too young to see it when it came out and excited that this theatre was running a midnight showing in 1976. That ending was a damning statement on the culture and racism of the 60s. As true today as then unfortunately. Zombies are mindless. Humans make decisions.
I was 14 when I saw NOTLD at a midnight showing with 2 of my friends. The most horrific thing for me was the ending. To have survived that night and to have his life taken in that way was more haunting than the entire rest of the film. 💔

When I was younger, I thought "tropical" meant a plant would like lots of light. Haven't always been a houseplant person. I was a food gardener. With time & research most tropicals are understory plants in jungles with large trees over them. Heat, humidity and ambient/filtered light is their thing.
Thanks and it was dumb luck. Didn't even know we were getting a houseplant order in. I truly tried to control myself. Obviously, I lost that battle. 😁
TY! I found that my Pink Princess doesn't like too much bright light. Go figure. Once I move it to the other side of the room it has done much better. Every plant is so unique even within species.
