Around season 4/5, sitcom families have this tendency to take in a "less fortunate" kid. And it NEVER works out. I don't care if it's Cousin Pam on The Cosby Show or Seven on Married...with Children. Blackish tried it for about 5 episodes. Still don't know what they were going for there.

Mystic Force is the one season for which I've never watched an entire episode. None of it even makes sense to me. Did they have some Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog scripts lying around or something? It was still modern-day Earth, right? I tried, but fell asleep on the few I sampled.
Back when the episodes still had a hamfisted moral. When did that end? RPM? "Look, we'd love to teach you about Responsibility, but most of humanity was just annihilated, and this dome is about to run out of breathable air!"
Yeah...I didn't like the idea of Saban hopping around, but I hated those trains the minute I saw them. Plus, PR has never figured out trains. Not sure if it's a shortage of sentai footage, but Lightspeed Rescue and Mystic Force had underused trains.
One of the best theme songs, and certainly best of the Disney Era. My only gripe was no one told them that Samurai and Ninja don't fuck with each other? I didn't care too much, though, because I loved Cam.
Like, this is a failing on my part, but I can't even name most of the Neo-Saban rangers. I think there's a Mia. And Kevin? Maybe Dirk? Is there a Dirk? There were a few guys who could have been Dirk. Then there's Ninja Steel Pink, with the ass.
Honestly, I feel the same about Ninja Steel. Those were godawful suits, but Haim was beyond lazy by that point. The Neo-Saban Era is so bad because they didn't even develop personalities for those kids. Recipe: "I need 5 hot folks, and make one mixed."
I will never come for a younger fan of a franchise, as they couldn't control when they were born. That said, I completely agree with Saban not wanting to adapt Kakuranger, because those suit designs looked like the lazy bootleg figures in every 90s dollar store. "Power Ninjas", "Galaxy Force", etc.
I've been meaning to make "Zordon Died For Nothing" stickers for years now. All he did was lie lol. But I love the Jason Todd cases for the MMPR suits, and I hate how they just become Color Tubes in Turbo.
