It’s not “we help you,” it’s “we pay back the debt we made.” This is how I see immigrants and refugees, legal or not.
Why must people become refugees or immigrants? Past ruling countries and wars have left many lands unstable, even today. So it makes sense that people move to the countries responsible. Rich countries grew by using poor lands and resources, so those who live in wealth now must share the burden.
