PA is weird. Of the 67 counties, maybe eight or nine are hard D. Thankfully those are where most of us live. The rest of the state are hard R. After several special elections over the last couple years, Dems have been holding a bare majority in the state House. Senate, not so much.
Fvck. I'm a Pennsylvanian. Governor Shapiro is awesome, but also one of the free remaining D statewide officials. We still don't have a budget passed for 2025 (it's going to be September in a couple days) because the R majority in the state Senate refuses to pass a bill.
